This Week's Handbag Hero

Ooo look sun, no wait rain and... sun... maybe? Is that a cloud?

I cannot keep up with this weather, which is why this little beaut is my handbag hero this week, a spritz of this, a ruffle of the fingers and you would of never guessed I've just battled 4 seasons on route to work. Do you ever feel that way?

Introducing Philip Kinglsey One More Day

I have this a mini size so its perfect to just carry about and it doesn't weigh a thing, or clog up space in my bag, in fact over the summer months I wouldn't be caught without this. You never know when post-work drinks might pop up, or an impromptu dinner get together with the girls after a particularly stressful start to the week. This makes you feel all brand new and ready to take on the rest of the day or the night. No white dust give away on the routes either. Fresh smelling and a little really does go along way.

Phillip Kingsley - Elasticizer

Want enviable bouncy hair for summer?

Give this a go for utterly fabulous sleek straight hair or for super curls that bounce beyond your wildest dreams. This smells amazing, and adds a little bit of OOMPH without pulling a muscle blow drying your hair.

Added bonus, that this little product also has UV Filters, protecting coloured hair from the sun meaning your hair is less likely to look brittle or dry and be unmanageable during the summer months. I have coloured my hair for years, and my hair

Using this once a week adds a bit of bounce, especially for the weekend and you don't need much. Apply before shampooing and leave for 10-20mins, I find 15 is just enough time but this would depend on the condition of your hair. 15 minutes seems like a long time but realistically if you put this on first by the time everything else is done it's time to shampoo and condition. I am partial to leaving this on and popping into the Sauna at the gym.

Achieve perfect BBQ hair with this must hair hair product.

RRP £28 available online HERE at www.philipkingsley.co.uk

Phyto - Secret De Nuit

At the beginning of this year, one of my New Years Resolutions was to take better care of my hair, my mothers always warned me if I carry on the way I am, I'll be "bald before you know it". SO, I've invested in regular hair cuts, and an army of nourishing products.

Enter Phyto.

This is night time magic at it's very best, there are no false promises or unfounded claims, just pure results.

After years of colouring, a perm (yes, really), daily straightening and some extensions, I am fully in recovery mode, with treatments a plenty and when theres a treatment that works over night, whilst i sleep, that is the one for me, its so low maintainence, all i do is get up style and go.

Secret De Nuit gets to work as we relax, there are no polluants hindering it's progress, no stress and no impateince, it simply gets to work on repairing and creating a protective sheild around my locks for the day ahead. It's not advertised on the box, but this is a great detangler, my hair is notourisly knotty.

This lightweight cream glides onto the lenghts of my hair without leaving a sticky residue and without an overpowering scent hair feels silky to touch, I always pop my hair up in a bun to avoid getting it all over my face. Added plus it doesn't all just seep into the pillow this way. I would definitely recommend this for alternate uses for the first few weeks after colouring your hair to lock in colour and keep that "new hair" feel. Then use once a week/fortnight depending on the condition of your hair.

Available online HERE or from SPACE NK RRP £28 -  75ml

Aveda's Shampoo & Conditioner Duo

Aveda's Exfoliating Shampoo and Thickening Condition.

I've been colouring, highlighting and bleaching my hair since the tender age of 13, so its no wonder my hair has days when it just won't co-operate.

I went through a stage of my hair being quite thin and thankfully it recovered (took a while but it got there) My hairs still quite fine so im always on the look out for treatments, thickening and moisturising shampoos. So when i came across Aveda's thickening duo, how could i resist?

I found the shampoo to be a little runnier than i would of preferred, i like a good thick texture, and it did't lather up very well, even after using the entire tube, and i felt it was quite drying.

The thickening conditioner was nicer, with a smooth texture. They both smell quite "Natural" and by Natural i mean quite earthy, non chemically and generally give off that "Natural Vibe".

This duo, is a great treat for thinning hair, aside from texture of the shampoo this is a great treat for your hair, as long as you don't mind giving up the bubbles!
